Just because thunderstorms are in the forecast doesn’t mean that your pilots will be flying through them. As a matter of fact, at altitude, pilots will avoid getting within 20 miles of thunderstorms to make the ride as smooth as possible. Weather is a large contributor to those who have a Fear of Flying, mainly because of the uncertainty of Turbulence.
